Repro Graphix Awarded for Giving Back

Repro Graphix was honored to receive five awards in 2010 in recognition of the company’s involvement with its local community.

An Award of Appreciation award was presented to Repro Graphix on April 8 by the American Institute of Architects, Indianapolis chapter. Repro Graphix was recognized for its more than 20 years of sponsorship and in-kind printing for AIA at a chapter program at the Indianapolis Motor Speed-way.

The ACE Mentor Affiliate Builder of the Year award was given to Repro Graphix by the ACE Mentor Program of Indiana on May 12. Jill and Brian Hall, owners of Repro Graphix, were recognized for their longtime commitment of time, talent and treasure to the ACE program. Brian has served on the ACE board for several years and currently serves as fundraising chair. The Halls are passionate about the positive difference the program makes in the lives of local architectural and engineering students.

The Walter Blackburn Distinguished Protégé Award was awarded to Brian Hall by the Walter Blackburn Scholarship Foundation on June 6 at the sixth annual Men of Substance & Style dinner. The evening benefited the Walter Blackburn Scholarship Fund for students of architecture and design. According to the Foundation, a Walter Blackburn Protégé is a person of character, substance and style with a commitment to family, community and professional excellence.

The AIA Service Citation Award was awarded to Repro Graphix by the American Institute of Architects, Indiana Chapter, at the AIA Indiana/Kentucky Convention on October 15. Repro Graphix’ more than 20 years of involvement was noted with the following citation: “Repro Graphix has long supported Hoosier AIA members. Their devotion to the profession of architecture is unmatched and cannot be overstated. When AIA needs their help, they are always there. Regardless of the event or issue, Repro Graphix is always ready to lend a helping hand.” 

The Colts Community Quarterback Award was given to Brian Hall by the Indianapolis Colts on October 27 for his community involvement. Brian was honored for his personal and corporate involvement with more than 50 local, nonprofit organizations. His volunteer service includes board member and fundraising chair for ACE Mentor Program of Indiana, godparent for St. Mary's Child Center, founding member for FAIR (an organization encouraging collaborative decisions between local officials, taxpayers, businesses and community stakeholders) executive board vice president for Lawrence Township Schools Foundation, president for Geist Lake Coalition, event chair for Blast on the Bridge at Geist, volunteer for the 500 Festival and recipient of the Key to Lawrence Township for outstanding community service.
