Employees Give 627 Hats, Gloves, Scarves and Socks

This Christmas, employees at Repro Graphix’ Indianapolis shop decided they wanted to join together to make a difference for kids in Indianapolis — and they wanted to have fun doing it.

Repro staff members created a contest between the guys and the girls to see who could donate the most new hats, gloves, scarves and socks for a good cause. The cause they chose was Shepherd Community Center’s Christmas store which gives inner-city parents the opportunity to shop for gifts for their families for free.

After the first week of the contest, the teams were neck-and-neck with the girls team at 104 donations while the boys trailed at 96.

In the end, the tables turned, with the boys victorious at 383 donations while the girls’ donations came to 244, for a grand total of 627 hats, gloves, scarves and socks for the Christmas store.

The entire Repro Indy staff enjoyed the friendly holiday competition and the chance to bless more than 1,000 children who received gifts from the Christmas store this year.
